TCM Prescription Software
Herbal formulations means a dosage form consisting of one or more herbs or processed herbs in specified quantities to provide specific nutritional, cosmetic benefits meant for use to diagnose, treat, mitigate diseases of human beings or animals, alter the structure or physiology of human beings or animals. Chinese herbal medicines are one of the most common used modes of Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment. Many TCM practitioners prescribe herbal formulations for a certain length of time to help facilitate recovery, maintain health, and prevent disease. MDOS TCM Prescription Software is used to manage TCM herbal formulations.
TCM Prescription Templates
TCM prescription templates can be manually entered into the system or imported from a file. Users can store all their herbal formulas in the MDOS system as Herbal Formula Templates, and then use those templates conveniently and efficiently to prescribe Chinese herbal medicines.
TCM Prescription Software
Patient Initial Visit TCM Prescription: The first TCM prescription for a patient can be easily created from a template. The dosage for an ingredient can be slightly modified for the patient. An ingredient can be added to the template or removed from the template. The original template is not affected at all when working on a patient prescription.
Patient Subsequent Visit TCM Prescription: The subsequent TCM prescription can be conveniently created from the previous prescription of the same patient. The dosage for an ingredient can be slightly modified for the new prescription based on the patient improved or changed conditions.
TCM Rx Ingredient
In-House Ingredient: MDOS TCM prescription software can manage and work with in-house ingredient inventory. The in-house ingredient inventory is automatically deducted after a TCM Rx creation. The TCM prescription charges get into the patient’s Superbill automatically as shown below.
No TCM Ingredient: MDOS Rx software can also work independently without TCM ingredient. The patient can get the TCM Rx ingredients elsewhere.
